Our first breeding of the season has been confirmed successful!

We are very excited for this breeding. Shimmer is a fantastic example of the guernsey breed and at the age of 8, she is looking great. I particularly appreciate the strength she has in her pasterns as this is a weakness for the breed.

Lucky brings excellent mammary genetics to the table. I expect him to improve fore udder specifically but will likely improve mammary attachments overall.

Offspring will be BG level with BGS and American with ADGA.

This breeding currently has 1 doe and 1 buck reservation open.

I would like to take a moment to highlight a guernsey breed-up kid.
People tend to shy away from recorded grades as though they are lesser quality than "purebred" guernsey goats.

Newmorning Yarasluck is a Foundation Book (FB) level with the British Goat Society (BGS) and experimental with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA).

While she is not perfect, I am pretty happy with how she is looking at 7 months old. I believe she is going to be a solid part of our breeding program for many years and am not at all put off by the fact that she is not a "purebred" guernsey.

Yara is out of Quantroviento Yonyon and sired by Newmorning Toughluck.

Goats don't listen! Or do they?
Our girls protested a little bit about coming in off the pasture but once they are trained to the drill, they actually do listen to you.

Preparations for our guernsey's lap A.I. appointment have begun. Here's hoping for several kids in the spring sired by some exciting Royal Golden Guernsey (RGG) bucks.

Who says goats aren't smart? Maple is very good at solving problems. She has learned how to gain access to the best snacks.

Hi friends,
We have made some changes to our 2026 breeding plan. (Open in an external browser)
Please feel free to take a look and reach out if you have any questions or would like to make a deposit for 2027 kids.
* Please note this is subject to change

We breed miniature nubian and guernsey goats. Baby goats will be available for purchase every spring. These goats make great pets, family milkers, or for clearing overgrown brush.
