Two of our cows went to the butcher yesterday, which means a chest freezer full of meat in a couple of weeks!

The calving season has officially begun! One of our cows, Raven, gave birth to a healthy little girl this weekend. Mom and calf are doing well, and we will get pictures online soon!

First snow of the year at Mountain Meadow Farm this past weekend! The cows seem to be enjoying the first few flakes of the season. We were happy to have a visit from Dana, who picked up the beef from one of our cows at the local butcher. Thanks again for making the long trip, and Juno sends her regards ;-). We sincerely hope that everyone who went in with Dana on the cow purchase enjoys their beef!!!

Busy week for Mountain Meadow Farm! Two of our beefers went out to slaughter, and the meat should be ready by this weekend. Two steers will be ready for slaughter next year at the same time (one of which is already spoken for). Let us know if there is interest in the second! We also have plenty of rabbits available that have just reached maturity. Have a great week, everyone!
