I can’t wait to see these kids! Goldilocks is one of my favorite yearling guernseys. She has really nice width, with very strong legs/ feet and shows great strength in those rear hocks… all areas that need improvement on this breed as a whole.

ATTENTION GUERNSEY GOAT OWNERS!!!
we need your help getting our goats to the 2028 ADGA National Show!

ADGA requires 500 registered Guernseys, and the current count is 358. That means we need just 142 more! SOOOOO CLOSE!!

If you have eligible Guernseys whose ADGA paperwork you’ve been putting off, please make registering them a priority. Every registration brings our breed closer to this milestone…..even if you never plan to attend Nationals yourself! Plus the rates are about to increase, so make sure you take full advantage of the current discounted rate of $20.00. As of January 1st, it will increase to the regular fee of $40.00.

The registration goal is one part of the process. The breed must also successfully complete a two-year exhibition protocol:

2026—West Springfield, Massachusetts: Fulfill registration requirements and exhibit at least 35 Guernseys at the National Show.

2027—Salem, Oregon: Exhibit at least 35 Guernseys at the National Show.

2028—Louisville, Kentucky: Once these requirements are met, Guernseys can step into the ring for full national competition!

This takes support from our whole Guernsey community! from owners registering their goats to breeders making the trip to exhibit. You don’t have to attend the show to help make this opportunity possible.

As someone working to build a Guernsey herd, I would love to see these beautiful goats take their place on the national stage. It’s an opportunity to recognize the work going into the breed and introduce Guernseys to more people. Check your herd, complete those registrations, and encourage fellow Guernsey owners to do the same. Please share—let’s help those 142 registrations become a reality!
