πWine Spotlight: 2021 Pinot Noirπ
Baldassari Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is the kind of Pinot we just love to drink.
The fruit comes from the warmer, sun kissed eastern side of Russian River Valley, giving us ripe cherry, juicy raspberry and pomegranate while still keeping the perfume and silky texture that make Pinot so compelling.
In the 2021 vintage, we fermented with 40% whole cluster for spice, earth and savory character, and we rely on native fermentation to keep the wine expressive and full of personality.
And vintage after vintage, that approach has delivered. Our 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir earned 93 points from Wine Enthusiast and 97 points from Sunset International, continuing a track record of 90 point recognition for Baldassari wines.
For us, that consistency matters. Pinot Noir changes with every vintage, but you should still be able to trust the name on the bottle. When you pick up a Baldassari Pinot, you know what we are chasing every year: juicy fruit, earth, spice, silkiness and a whole lot of personality.
