Ash Grove Farms Ash Grove Farms is a family owned operation that has had a strong reputation selling extra fancy Black & Black Baldy Angus bred heifers for nearly 25 years.

In 1964, Lindon (Pete) Potter and Karen Potter purchased a homestead south of Winfred, SD and named their family operation Ash Grove Farms. They raised club calves and milked cows up until 1996. In 1994, Ash Grove purchased its first replacement heifer herd and held its first Annual Bred Heifer Sale in January of 1995. Today, the main operation is selling strong reputation Black and Black Baldy Br

ed Heifers and it is operated by Pete & Karen, Mark Potter (son) and his wife - Donita, Cole Potter (grandson), Cassie (Potter) Viet (granddaughter) and her husband - Josh. Every year in January, the bred heifers are sold through the Madison Livestock Sale Barn in Madison, SD.
