Attended the 4 ring RDGA show in Roseburg, OR where Lakeview Acre SB Aurora earned her 3rd Reserve ribbon! 🏆🎉

I was actually pretty shocked about this one! There were so many beautiful goats in the class and such an incredible line up! I have always appreciated and respected Judge Justin Bassets reasons and placings. He is a judge I have had a personal goal to try to do well under but have not been so lucky until now!! I hope I can get more ribbons under him! 🤩

Thank you to RDGA and all the volunteers that did such a great job putting on this fun show!

We had SO much fun at the NWODGA show in Salem, OR! We are absolutely smitten with my Oberhasli Vanjust VSKR Takhara who won Grand Champion in both rings on Saturday! My niece Aurora showed her in the second ring so I could get some pictures! 🥰🏆🎉

My Nigerian girls looked amazing as well! I brought out some first freshening two year olds and yearlings so we could all show something! It’s so fun to make it a family affair! 🥰

I need to also show you all how amazing Treasure looked yesterday at the show!

Someone asked how I got her so black. I don’t know. 😬 I actually think it might be genetics.. or luck with nutrition of some sort. Some could be elbow grease with a good bath and brushing. 😜

So, Amores Farm National Treasure is my ❤️ goat. 😅

She sadly was DQ for being OH in the first ring. (Second time and I didn’t cry, but definitely a walk of shame).
Second ring she made it in.. (I’m seeing a trend).. She placed 3rd as a 2 year old 3rd freshener.

I expect great things from this doe.. IF she makes it under the stick. 🤞

She is SO long b***d! And her udder is made of dreams. Beautiful texture and medial. 🤩

I am still in shock and over the moon excited about our big win yesterday! 🏆🥹

After 5 years of showing this girl, Lakeview Acre SB Aurora won Grand Champion and Best of Breed under Judge Madeline Evans at the Kitsap Fuzzy dairy goat show!

Aurora is one of my first two goats and the first doe I ever showed! We’ve come a LONG way!

As a first freshener Aurora was SO lopsided and we placed last in almost every class. I was blissfully ignorant and learned everything I knew at the time from you tube. 🤣 I had so much fun and made so many friends that first year! 🥰

The next year Aurora freshened beautifully and she has consistently placed at the top of her class from then on.

I’m so proud of this doe! I love her style, her angularity and sharpness, depth of body and chest, strong topline, uphill stature and wonderful laid back personality! 🤩❤️

I knew from Monica’s FF udder that she was going to have width but this is just impressive! Pictured at 9 days fresh! .. it is a “show fill” (accidental.. life happens 😬) not a 12 hour fill. But look at the glow up! I will get updated pictures after she’s shaved and shown but I had to share!
