Still needs to be filtered another time or two, but my second try at refining wax went pretty well. I did this on the wood stove last night. Some of it will be used for grafting Apple trees so doesn't need to be further refined.

It looks like a early spring is here. Great to see these girls bringing in lots of pollen. They are building up their numbers earlier than normal, and pollen provides the protein required to raise new bees.
