GOALS. LET’S TALK ABOUT THEM.
Google the definition of a goal and you’ll find:
A goal is a desired result, target, or endpoint that a person or group plans, commits, and works with effort to achieve.
Why are goals important? Goals give us an expectation of the work that needs to be put in and, more importantly, they give us a roadmap to get where we want to go. Without a destination, how do you know which direction to head?
At STG, we believe goals are just as important as feeding your project every day. We set goals yearly, monthly, weekly, and sometimes even daily. We believe in having something to chase, something to work toward, and something that makes all the work in between worth it.
That’s why we want to know YOUR goals. Are you looking to make a run at a county show? A state fair? Junior Nationals? Maybe you want to develop a future donor, build your own cow family, be competitive in Showmanship or simply have a project to raise great kids!
Whatever it is, we want to know. Knowing what you’re chasing helps us point you toward certain lots that we feel could be a great fit for you and your goals. After all, the right project isn’t just about finding a good heifer, it’s about finding the right heifer for what you want to accomplish.
So, what are your goals for the upcoming show season? Don’t be afraid to share them below. Let us cheer you on, keep you motivated, and maybe even help you find the project that gets you there.
And if you’re still looking for that project to fit your goal…
Let’s talk.
