🦆7 x Muscovy ducks aged 8-10 months old (2 boys, 5 girls)
🦃6 x Bourbon Red turkey poults aged 3-4 months old (unsexed, but can give a good guess)
🪶12 x guinea fowl aged 3-6 months old (unsexed)

Oh happy days!! We've welcomed two new Painted Desert lambs to the flock, one girl, one boy, both doing really well with their super laid back, second time mama. I can't describe the relief I feel when no intervention is needed, and new born lambs thrive! *Big exhale*

I've learned my lesson: never give up on an egg (or a duckling)! Meet Lonely Duck, who decided to hatch four days after I unplugged the incubator and left town, not bothering to throw the remaining eggs out. I came back expecting a stinky incubator, but instead found this little surprise! 😂
This was my last hatch of the year, so there are no buddies for this little guy. That definitely gives me a valid reason to head to Tractor Supply, right?! 🤣

Forget Haribo, there's a new sour sheriff in town! It's watermelon season, and these are sour watermelon rinds that seriously rival any sour gummy out there!!
Simple to make:
* Remove green rind
* Simmer in sugar syrup
* 12 hours in the dehydrator
* Dust in a sour-power sugar and citric acid mix!
The result? Chewy, sweet, sour, and absolutely delicious bites of summer sunshine! An absolute must-try!

Spot the HAPPIEST pig in the world!
Her babies are weaned, no one is bothering her for b***y milk (IKYKY😂), and she's got the whole of that muddy drying up pond to herself, with not an annoying goose in sight. Utter bliss... 😂
