At Bar W Coffee Roasters, we do things a little differently.

We roast four bags at a time because we want to see every bean and have complete control over the process. After roasting, our beans rest for 5–7 days in a moisture-free, sealed environment kept at 78° until they leave our roaster. Every batch gets our attention. Every bag matters.

We don’t spend money on advertising. We invest that money into the coffee instead—sourcing quality beans from around the world and putting the money where we believe it matters most: in the cup.

The ingredients for gratitude are simple: a cup of coffee at sunrise, a good heart, and a moment to realize just how blessed we really are.

We spend so much time chasing what’s next that sometimes we forget to appreciate what’s already in front of us. The quiet mornings. The people we love. A little peace. A fresh cup of coffee. Another day that God has given us.

Today, I’m choosing gratitude. Not because everything is perfect, but because there is still so much to be thankful for.

Life is good. God is great. Be thankful for the little things.

I don’t care where they came from. I don’t care what they look like. I don’t care how they dress, what they have, what they don’t have, or what mistakes they’ve made. I don’t care what side of town they’re from or whether their story looks anything like mine. I love them. Period. Every person carries a story we may know nothing about, a battle we may never see, and a heart that deserves compassion. Jesus didn’t tell us to love only the people who look like us, think like us, or live like us. He told us to love our neighbor. So that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to love people. Not because they’ve earned it, but because I’ve been given more grace than I ever deserved. God bless East Texas, we love y’all.
