🌱 Welcome to Jannsen Brothers Farm! 🌱
For those who are new here, we thought we’d take a moment to introduce ourselves!
We’re Brianna & Derek Jannsen. Derek grew up working hard on this farm, and in March of 2022 he took the leap and purchased it. Since then, we’ve been working hard to build a life centered around agriculture, raising animals, and sharing the realities and joys of farm life with others.
Our farm is home to a whole crew of animals — from our growing cattle herd, our goat and sheep families, to our guardian dogs that protect the livestock, our horses, chickens, barn cats, and our house pets. Every animal has a purpose, a story, and a place here. Derek is a tractor mechanic/service technician🚜 & I am a licensed veterinary technician🐮 so together we’ve made a dream team!
Farming isn’t easy (and there’s definitely never a dull moment!), but we wouldn’t trade this life for anything. We love sharing the highs, the challenges, the newborn babies, the funny moments, and the everyday work that goes into raising animals and growing food. If you’re looking for meat to fill your freezer, a pup to guard your goat herd, or just something fun to follow on facebook, you’ve come to the right place!
