The weather looks beautiful today and the honeyberries are prime! We hope to see you at the farm today for u-pick from 9-3 🙂

We picked our first delicious honeyberries of the season yesterday! We are excited for the first day of u-pick honeyberries this Saturday, June 6th, from 9-3. We will then be open daily for u-pick Monday - Saturday from 9-3 until the end of honeyberry season. We hope to see you at the farm!

We are only a month away from the start of honeyberry season!

Did you know that honeyberries have two little yellow tubular flowers for each individual fruit? This unusual characteristic is found in all species in the honeysuckle family. These specialized flowers, as well as the surrounding tissues, are designed for early spring pollenation and help protect the flower and fruit from the cold. All these adaptations allow honeyberries to develop early in the season, even earlier than strawberries.

We will be open for u-pick blueberries until 3:00 today. This is probably the last Saturday for u-pick this year. Thanks to everyone who came out this season!

There are so many blueberries, so we will be open for u-pick today from 1:00 - 6:00!

So cool to hear about blueberry picking at our farm this morning on KQAL-FM 89.5 Winona, MN! There are still LOTS of blueberries left, so we'd love to see people at the farm today and tomorrow, as well as next week, from 9:00 - 3:00!
