Super simple way to support good things in our community!

During October our cashiers will invite shoppers to round up their total at the register to help build our annual Community Fund donation. We hope you will join in by saying yes! It doesn't have to be much, even a few cents will make a difference.

The donations we collect at the register are pooled with the donations of more than 40 other co-ops and used to make loans to co-ops. The interest on our principle is returned to us annually. We donation this to a local non-profit of our choice each year. Home & Community Options of Winona was our 2026 recipient, receiving a check of $1,115 in July.

Many hands can make light work and the impact is noticeable when we work together. The benefit of your small change will build and ripple out from our little co-op. Thank you so much for your support!

It's National Co-op Month and we are celebrating with fabulous bonuses for new owners!

If you join the co-op in October you will receive free BCC swag (your choice t-shirt or long sleeve t-shirt or tote bag). Plus have a chance to win $100 worth of local products. Current owners who pay off their payment plan by October 31, 2026 are also eligible to win. Winner will be randomly drawn on Sunday, Nov. 1st.

The next quarter of Beans For Bags starts tomorrow, which means a new lineup of community non-profit organizations to choose from!

Want an easy way to support an organization listed above? All you have to do is bring your own reusable shopping bags (or basket) on your next grocery trip. Get a bean at checkout for every bag and drop that bean in the jar for the organization of your choice. We'll collect beans over the next 3 months and Bluff Country Co-op will donate 5 cents per bean to each organization at the end of December. It's one small way we can support our community together. 🧡

We are celebrating at the co-op all week long on the hot bar. But be sure to stop in this weekend, September 25, 26 and 27 for a special deal (20% off) on locally raised pork brats from Hidden Stream Farm! Bluff Country Co-op is an integral part of the local economy and owned by a diverse group of individuals who live, work and shop here. Ownership isn't just an investment though; it's an opportunity to participate and make a difference too.

Our board members are co-op owners who provide oversight for the cooperative business and help ensure the co-op's future, guaranteeing it continues to meet the needs of the community.

Board candidate declarations are due by 6 PM on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026. The election will be held at the end of October. Board terms begin January 2027.

It's time for our annual salmon sale! Seth Cooke is an independent fisherman who is privately licensed to fish Bristol Bay every summer. He brings sustainable, wild-caught Alaskan salmon back for us to enjoy in Winona. All salmon is frozen and vacuum sealed, available in 6 oz portions or side fillets.

How to Order:
Stop by our customer service counter, tell your cashier or contact us at the store to place a pre-order. Payment can be made on the day of pick up. The estimated arrival time of salmon is August 30 - 31, 2026.
