I’m really disappointed with the service I received after buying four tires from Walmart two years ago from Winslow.
One tire has been losing air almost the entire time. At first it was once a month, but recently it became every week or two., and then finally only a day between I brought it in and they replaced the valve stem, but the tire kept leaking.
When I asked if the tire could be prorated or replaced, I was told the warranty was void due to “tire rot” because I live in Arizona.
Because the issue continued, I took my car to Discount Tire in Flagstaff. They found a screw in the tire and also a long crack inside the tire that they said appears to be a manufacturer defect.
When at Walmart, I did become frustrated during my visit and said “that’s bullsh*t,” which I later called and apologized for. However, I did not say the phrase the manager claimed I said.
After dealing with this for two years and making multiple trips for air, I’m disappointed that no one was willing to help or even review the tire defect fairly.
Customers deserve better support when there’s an ongoing issue like this.
