It is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing the closing of our company. I have tried very hard to get this business to be a proactive, educational, monetary, and fun adventure with which no one I know has taken. It did not disappoint. We don't look at it as a failure, but yet a series of events that just couldn't pan out this point and time, nor anytime soon in the future. We accept that, heck its life!

You must all follow your dreams no matter what gets in your way. Just because there is the possibility it will not work, don't give up., don't quit. However make a decision on what is best for you once you have given it a true shot.

We appreciate all of the support and with this we say will say see you soon. We could try and reboot the business one day, but there are no guarantees.

However, I am a 26 year old who has nothing guaranteed to him in life. I realize that our generation is really going to struggle with retirement (pension plans, 401k, SSC) and have received a very special opportunity to take two very respected jobs, in which I am going to do.

Thank you guys for your continuous and unwavering support. We really appreciate what you have all done for us and look forward to seeing what you all can do in the future!

Always jump in a try things and never get down on yourself when things don't pan out the way YOU want them too.

What has Mack Imports been up too?

In the past month, due too the rise for new types of Croatian wine, we here at Mack Imports have been working to get our customers satisfied.

We are looking forward to introducing two NEW wines!

Traminer: A german variety with heavy floral accents, and is dead in the middle of sweet vs. dry Index.
Frankovka: A very light red, similar to pinot noir but even lighter for those hot summer days.

We are also introducing a new vintage of Graševina that was a huge hit when we tried you all on samples.

For our Cabernet Sauv fans, we aren't changing the rockstar. This wine is perfect, just the way it is.

Remember, you helped select these wines. Out of the 8 varieties we sampled you all on, the most popular were: Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Graševina 2015, Frankovka 2015, and the Traminer 2015.

Within a couple of weeks we will have these new wines and will be expanding to Mooresville, and Charlotte as well as Raleigh (Go Wolfpack!), Durham and perhaps Chapel Hill.

Something that was not added to this is the wine market. There are several local vineyards right outside of Winston-Salem as well as extremely rare, imported, Croatian wine that can only be attained in the Triad at select locations.

Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945, by Joe Rosenthal. It depicts five United States Marines and a United States Navy hospital corpsman raising a U.S. flag atop Mount Suribachi, during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II.

Let us never forget what those have sacrificed for us so that we may live today. They will always be remembered and respected at an unfathomable level.
