8000 volts will keep just about any trained animal in!
No they don’t get shocked often but it does happen from time to time. They train very fast from piglets and usually don’t have too many issues on double strands.
I’ve been hit several times and it’s not very pleasant but definitely gets your attention quickly!

Lord I’m getting salty in my old age 😂! Watch the ending, I’m done listening to people cry about how hard something is. With a terrible mindset everything is going to be hard!

Watermelon days are always a good time around here! Great snack for the pigs.
Watch the end lol some days the dog gives the chickens hell and some days they give it right back!!

“The Ugly Truth”
People love to take advantage of other people’s good nature. Because they think they can hide in the shadows and get away with it.
Buddy all that time you worried about getting a bad google review for selling a sick pigs, all that crying about feeling sorry for other people. But you didn’t give a damn about getting over on me though right?

I don’t even know how to put this feeling into words.

After almost 5 years we are finally able to hear something we’ve prayed so hard for… his voice. His vocabulary has EXPLODED these past few months ❤️

Something so simple to most people means absolutely everything to us.

God is so good. He is working in George in His own way, in His own time🙏

It’s been long days and late nights and weekends catching up lately. Plus feeding and watering critters. My goodness what did I get myself into😂!
The Ugly Truth will be back shortly!!! We ain’t done yet 😉

Farming is a gamble. Every single day.
Not just for us — for the entire industry.
It's pouring your extra time, energy, and money into producing something better — for your family, your friends, your community — and hoping the effort pays off.
You can raise the best product available. Price it fairly, better than most. It doesn't even compare to conventional, mass-produced options. But getting it into people's hands? That's a whole different battle.
Most farmers don't have what the big chains have — marketing teams, million-dollar ad budgets, a spot in every grocery store, total control from feed to animal to processing to packing to distribution. We're doing this piece by piece, hoping it all comes together.
And there's always something on the line — another feed bill, an escaped animal, too much rain, not enough rain, shelter repairs. The list never ends.
So thank a farmer. Truly. Most of us will never earn enough to cover the actual labor — physical or mental. It's not a job you can explain with a paycheck. It's a passion you just can't put into words.
