Meet Ch*****ne, one of our little helpers here at Lindell Farm!

She spends her days catching mice, hanging out with the dogs, and wandering around the property to see what everyone is up to.

We had just gotten back with another load of plants, and of course Ch*****ne had to climb into the trunk to check everything out.

She’s quite the character and definitely makes life around the farm a little more entertaining!

🎃🍂 PSA: PUMPKIN SPICE ALERT! 🐷🐓

As you and your family celebrate fall, keep Lindell Farm in mind when it’s time to say goodbye to your seasonal decorations!

Instead of tossing your pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, and other fall decor, we would happily take them off your hands! Our farm animals would love to put your leftover decorations to good use. 🐽🦆🐰

We just ask that everything be free of mold, rot, paint, glitter, and chemicals, and safe for our animals to enjoy!

🦃 And don’t forget about Thanksgiving! Our pigs would also love any unspoiled food scraps you would otherwise throw away. Just check with us about what’s safe to donate if you have any questions!

Half a Pig Available – Premium Berkshire Pork!

Our Berkshire pigs are getting close to being ready, and we’re offering halves for anyone looking to stock their freezer with some delicious, farm-raised pork!

Berkshire pork is known for its excellent marbling, tenderness, and rich flavor. It’s considered one of the best pork breeds for meat quality!

Approximately $715 per half, including basic butchering and packaging, with your choice of cuts.

Processing is expected in about six weeks, with the exact date to be announced.

2026: My first year gardening, and boy, has it been a year of learning. 🌱😂

A few lessons learned along the way:

🌱 You do NOT need to plant 20 seeds of a vegetable your household barely eats.

🪴 Label your plants better, especially if you plan on selling them and actually need to know what they are.

🌳 Lowe’s sells fruit trees for a QUARTER of their original price if you catch them on a good day. Dangerous information for someone like me.

And perhaps the biggest lesson of all? Label. Your. Plants. 😂

Which brings us to today’s mystery at Lindell Farm…

I may have gotten a little carried away with planting and completely neglected the labeling process. So now we’re playing a fun game of what the heck did I grow?

The real reason we don’t sell duck eggs… or even eat many ourselves. 😂🦆

Our ducks free range around the farm, which means collecting eggs is less of a morning chore and more of an Easter egg hunt. Half the battle is figuring out where they decided to lay them that day.

Farmer Kat and her bargain hunting strikes again 🌱🤑

A VERY successful day shopping: over $1,000 worth of fruit trees & bushes for less than $300. 🙌🏼 that’s less than $10 a tree!

Today’s haul:
🌳 13 fig trees, multiple varieties
🍎 2 apple trees
🥑 1 avocado tree
🫐 11 blueberry bushes, multiple varieties
🍈 1 guava tree
🌿 1 mulberry tree

29 new fruit trees & bushes headed to Lindell Farm. Safe to say we’re gonna need a bigger orchard. 😂🌱

Putting every inch of the farm to work 🌿
Our dog training run fencing is pulling double duty as a trellis for our luffa, and they are absolutely taking over. 🌼😂

Productive weekend! 🥫🌱

Slide 1: Tomato soup made 100% from our homegrown tomatoes and basil! We also made French onion soup using pork broth made from a pulled pork shoulder from our farm. Because of this, it is literally the BEST French onion soup on the planet. 😂

Slide 2: Two roosters from the farm made all of the chicken broth and pulled chicken for our recipes this weekend, including an elote street corn & chicken gnocchi soup and Italian sausage and gnocchi soup. We also harvested seeds from all of the organic peppers we used so we can grow our own! And, of course, pork from our farm made its way into the kitchen too. 🐓🌶️🐖

Slide 3 — biggest news: We’re officially going to start selling our canned soups! 🥫 French onion soup and chicken tortilla/taco soup will be available by the quart or gallon, with discounts for larger quantities.

We also made homemade chicken wing sauce using our own tomatoes and wax peppers! 🌶️🍅

Raised right here on our property in Winter Garden and professionally processed.

Ground pork: $10/lb
Chorizo sausage: $12/lb
Breakfast sausage: $12/lb
