From a so-so spot to absolute pizza perfection! 🍕🔥🍋

After our first spot didn't quite hit, we decided to check out Smoky Mountain Brewery. We had dropped by the night before just for drinks, but everyone kept telling us the food—specifically the pizza—was a must-try.

We decided to go with the Pizza of the Month: The Lemon Chicken Ricotta. It’s built on a white sauce base and topped with chicken, ricotta cheese, fresh basil, thyme, and a touch of lemon.
Now, full transparency... I don't recall ever ordering chicken on a pizza before. To be completely honest, if it’s not Popeyes or a nice, extra-crispy wing, I almost never order chicken anything! 😅 But our bartender mentioned he had just tried it and said it was really good, so we took a leap of faith.

I am SO glad we listened. This pizza was phenomenal! 🤌✨

Every single bite was better than the last. The crust was perfection, the chicken stayed incredibly moist, and the balance of lemon and creamy ricotta tied the whole dish together seamlessly. Pure happiness in every slice!
If you’re ever in the area, do not sleep on their pizza lineup!
