Can you find the queen bee? Let us know if you found her before checking the comments!

Tips for mastering queen spotting:
• Practice, practice, PRACTICE! As with anything, the more you do it the better you get at it.
•The queen is usually longer than worker bees, with her abdomen extending past her wings.
•Look at frames with eggs, larvae, and capped brood first.
•Watch for a circle of attendants. Workers may surround her and groom her.
•Look for fresh eggs. Upright eggs in cells help narrow down where she’s been laying.
•Don’t panic if you can’t find her! A healthy pattern of eggs and young brood is a good clue that she’s been active recently.

A lot has changed in commercial beekeeping since the 1950s, but one thing remains the same. This industry is NOT for the weak. But we wouldn’t change a thing!

Clover honey available in the stands for a limited time !

Over the summer, we took our bees to North Dakota to bring you this smooth, mellow, delicious honey. Clover honey is a wonderful everyday honey because its mild flavor complements foods without overpowering them. It’s delicious drizzled over biscuits, stirred into tea, spread on toast, or paired with yogurt and fresh fruit.

While our Florida varieties have those bold, rich, seasonal flavors you love, this clover honey offers a gentler, classic sweetness that's just as special in its own way.
