It's kidding season, and it can be a time of tremendous joy, or of great sadness. Having assisted with difficult breach births, still births and the loss last year of my precious Polly, I get up and wonder what I may find happened during each night. As each doe comes close, I grow fearful, and anxious. But this life, I would not trade for the world.
There is so much to learn about our relationship with a Perfect Shepherd from my imperfect care of these precious creatures... I am left with more love for Life and an overwhelming longing for the end of Death is always the result.

It's cheese making season again at the farm! Here's a photo of our feta and Monterey Jack cheese. Soap is going along well also, batch number one was honey oatmeal, batch number 2 will be Rosemary mint. Life is good!
