Unfortunately, I have to announce that we lost our favorite girl on the whole Homestead. She was the sunshine in my life. Our smart Pippy girl. My turkey dog will forever be the best animal I have ever had a chance to raise. Screw you to whomever dropped her off on the side of the highway at only days old. I didnt think her tiny body would make it throughout the first night with me, but she did. Broad breasted turkeys usually do not make it past 6 months to a year and with dedication, exercise and a stricter diet, we gave her 3.5 years. Those 3.5 years will forever be etched into my heart as now it feels pretty empty without her. Pippy power, Pipper Swipper, Princess Pip, you will forever be missed at home. 💜💔
