The chickens are staying happy this winter so far. They enjoy their daily feeding of warm beans and pasta but this cracked us up the other day. One very big and one very little fairy egg, I made them both into French toast mixture this morning.

Cookie Walk this weekend at the Winthrop Maine Historical Society! Stop in Friday for a reading of the Christmas story and other fun activities for kids starting at 3:00.

Don't forget we're offering free gift wrapping services on Friday night for any items purchased not just at our gift shop but anywhere from our participating Main Street businesses here in Winthrop. All you need to do is come in with your items show your receipt and provide a donation and we will happily wrap your gift.

While you visit make sure to take a look at the new exhibits that have been put up in recent weeks and months if you haven't been here in a while, take a look at all the many things in our gift shop some of which are on sale this month, or purchase a raffle ticket for our king size quilt raffle. We are hoping to have our drawing at the end of next week if we sell out our tickets.
