Azami also went to try to get her fetch title today but was entirely shown up by her daughter. To her excuse Azami is in a full standing heat.. she qualified beautifully for one leg and then noticed that there were boys around 🤦‍♀️ we’ll get her second leg another time.

This adorable creature got her Fetch Novice title today!! She did wonderfully, silly and happy and mostly focused.

She was just old enough to enter and totally has silly baby brain right now so we’re very proud of how she did.

Thanks so much to Paws 2 Play Training Center for hosting this show! We love having local events to support.

They are all developing into wonderful confident, sweet dogs.

Thanks so much to their new families for making this such a great experience for us. We are so excited to see how they grow and what they go on to do!

We’re becoming officially herding group next year!!

I know this is old news, but we have now received confirmation from the September Club News e-mail that the Dutch Shepherd has been approved to enter the AKC stud book and Herding Group June, 30 2027. My thanks goes out to the many people who contributed to this journey of Ca. 20 years (14 since we got into FSS). I wish everyone success with their dogs going forward. Moving forward, please be reminded of the ADSA mission:
The Mission of the ADSA is to promote and protect quality and versatility in the purebred Dutch Shepherd, to educate members and others about the breed, to encourage the highest standards of ownership and breeding, and to strive to bring the breed's natural qualities to perfection.
Thank you all for your work and support
Kent Rupprecht
ADSA, President
PS: when we receive our official notification from FSS, I will post it here.
