just wanted to share something cool with the fellow gardeners who follow us. 🌱

we expanded our garden quite a bit this year. the soil/compost mixture I ordered from a local company was honestly awful. it was super compact, rocky, and definitely not what I had hoped for. but I couldn’t exactly return literal tons of dirt that was delivered by a dump truck & dropped in my yard, so, I planted in it anyway and hoped for the best. 😅

after just one growing season, the difference is insane! the soil is no longer compacted, it’s so much healthier, and I’m finding so many earthworms! 😍

this has been such a good reminder that healthy soil is about more than just dirt. it’s a living ecosystem, and sometimes all it needs is a little time, some roots, and a chance to do what nature does best. ❤️

if I had to pick my favorite soup, I think mine would be Zuppa Toscana, but today called for homemade chicken noodle & grilled cheese on sourdough. 🥰

what’s your favorite soup?! I’d love to try some new recipes this Fall. ❤️

I won’t lie, I woke up this morning feeling a little discouraged…

the rain started much earlier than we expected & I just knew no one would show up to the stand today, but then they did. 🥹

forever grateful for our little community. thank you all so much for a successful rainy Saturday. ❤️

we have sourdough bread, cookies, farm fresh eggs, mini pumpkins, a few spaghetti squash, & fresh cinnamon rolls that just came out the oven a little bit ago.

we’d love for you to stop by & grab a little treat. we are open 9 AM- 6PM today.

Happy Friday everyone! ☺️

despite the rain starting a little earlier than we anticipated tomorrow, our farm stand will still be open Saturday (10/10) from 9 AM-6PM! 🍁🍂

the farm stand is under a covered shed, so don’t worry about getting wet while you shop! ☔️

tomorrow we will have sourdough bread (classic, jalapeño cheddar, & italian herbs & cheese), cookies (sourdough chocolate chip, brown butter pumpkin snickerdoodles, & brown butter maple pecan cookies), farm fresh eggs, mini pumpkins, & we plan to have fresh sourdough cinnamon rolls as well! 🥰

come out & support a small local business & grab a some bread to make sandwiches for soup weather, or a sweet treat! 🧡

I just wanted to get on here & share a few announcements…

1. PRE-ORDERS ARE NOW OPEN!

we’re excited to announce that Two Sprouts Homestead is now accepting pre-orders! 🥰

I’ve posted our October menu, so you can take a look at what we’ll have available and reserve your favorites ahead of time, incase they sell out at the stand.

just send us a message here on Facebook with what you’d like to order, and we’ll get something scheduled for you. ❤️

2. FARM STAND UPDATE:

weather permitting, the farm stand will be OPEN the weekend of October 10th! 🍂

we’ll post an update as we get closer with the exact hours and any weather-related changes.

opening day of the farm stand was a success!

while we didn’t completely sell out, with absolutely no advertising before hand, I think we did great! our neighbors showed up for us, like always & I am forever grateful for them.

we had a change of plans & we still have some items available, so we will be open again tomorrow. ☺️ we will be open a little later tomorrow, the hours will be 10AM-6PM.

I’m a little late posting, but the farm stand is officially open! 🥰

we’ve had quite a few customers already, the weather is perfect, & I’m so excited my little dream has finally become a reality. ❤️

we will probably be open til about 6 PM this evening, unless we sell out first. 😉🤞🏼
