It's been a while since I've posted.

We downsized our goats because we just didn't have the time we originally had when we first started our goat herd. We currently have Cocoa and Buck. But, we will be getting Pixie soon. She is actually one of our babies born here and is actually Cocoa's.
Do goats remember their kids? 🤷‍♀️

We downsized our chickens to 12 last summer, but have added about 20 more chicks. I miss having eggs.

I do have two Roos if anyone is interested.

Hi Farm Friends!

It's been a while but I just wanted to give you a little update.

We downsized a couple months ago due to our schedules changing and having less time at home.
We sold about 30 hens and a few goats, Luna, Bristol, Jack and Carl.

We still have Mr. Bean and Hazel our first 2. We still have Marble and Coco. And we still have Buck, our first baby born on the farm.
Before we sold Jack I let him roam with Hazel, Marble and Coco for a few weeks and he didn't disappoint.

Marble had two bucklings Sunday morning and they are beautiful and we are smitten. Ellie has already named them Elliott and Buster.
Hazel is expecting and pretty sure Coco is as well. I do feel like this will be our last time breeding.

Here are a few pictures of the newest babies.
Marble is such a good momma 💕
Elliott is the light colored and Buster is the darker tri-colored.

Hi, it has been a minute since we've posted on our farm page. Let me update you a little.

Ben has taken a job and it requires him to travel pretty much weekly and at the same time I have had to go back into the office and work 5 days a week.
This doesn't leave much time for the farm, so we had to downsize a little.
We are left with our originals, Bean, Hazel, Marble, and Coco, and then we still have Buck our first baby we had here on the farm.

However, before we sold our Buck-Jack, we made sure he spent a little time with the ladies, Hazel, Marble and Coco.

I wanted to kid one more time and by the looks of the girls over the weekend, the time they spent with Jack was successful and we might have some Fall babies. I will keep you posted :-)

Good morning! So much is happening around here. Our three bucklings left this week for their new farm. C**t went first, and OMG was it hard to let him go. He is a sweetheart, but I know he will be well loved. Bo and Luke left last night to their new farm and it tugged at my heart strings to let them go for sure. Their momma Hazel is so sad today, she is just out there crying. It's breaking my heart. Our doelings will leave tomorrow and I am pretty sad, but I know they will be well taken care of too. We've really gotten attach to these 6, but luckily we get to follow them and watch them grow.

Ben has taken a new job that will require him to go out of town more. I have been called back to the office 5 days a week starting May, so we have made the decision to downsize our herd and not breed anymore this year.

We were able to sell our two girls from last year, Luna and Bristol to a wonderful farm together and we will be able to follow them as they grow and breed.

We plan on keeping our 3 momma's, Cocoa, Hazel and Marble. Mr. Bean and Buck will be staying as well. We are trying to find a new herd for Carl. He is close to 2. And loves his ladies.

As for Jack, I am back and fourth but for now, he is staying and is out in the back lot with Carl and Bean.
