Celebration at the Farm! 🥛

Last Monday, we bottled 673 half gallons for our members. Today, we’re bottling 710 half gallons.

That’s a pretty significant jump in just one week, and we think that’s worth celebrating!

We want to express our gratitude to all of you who continue to share Pasture to Pitcher and especially our loyal pickup location hosts who open their doors and help make all of this possible.

So from all of us at the farm — THANK YOU!

Larry's Farm Supply is having their Grand Reopening this Saturday from 10am - 3pm!

This is a great opportunity to stop in, shop local goodies and meet some wonderful people! We will be there greeting and chatting with folks as well. See you Saturday!!

Roanoke folks!
We are excited to be adding a drop location on the Bonsack side of the county!

C&F Farms will be our newest drop location.

Sign ups are already live and the first delivery will take place September 2nd (deadline to sign up and receive milk the first week is Saturday, August 29th at midnight).

⏰ Pick up times Wednesday-Saturday 9am-5pm.

Remember that custom corn mix we planted back in May?

This week it was mowed, cut and put into the silo! A few days of nonstop running and only a minor breakdown and the cows will be fed through the winter! 🌽

This week, hay was mowed, baled, and safely tucked away in the barn in preparation for winter feeding.

Every bale represents months of planning and a little bit of luck with the weather. We’re grateful the rain held off long enough for us to get it all done. Now our cows will have quality forage to carry them through the colder months!

This is how excited Eli gets about each new Pasture to Pitcher sign-up (and he’s not the only one)! This week marks our first week sending out over 670 half gallons of Raw A2 milk ♥️

Our crew actually has a group text were we share each new member that joins the herdshare program! A text message pep rally of sorts. We celebrate with “gifs” and “woo-hoos” that express our excitement over the growth we experience 👏
