It’s been a great year! We built a dealer location, tripled our harvesting numbers, and got three solar-powered rafts rotating during the growing season 🦪

We’ve got two more harvests before we take a few months off. We’ll be making deliveries to NYC & the Hudson Valley both weeks (on 12/23 and 12/30)- the link to order is in our bio

It’s official: January/February of 2024 will be our final CSA season. We’d love to see as many familiar faces- and hopefully some new ones- as we wind down a program that has brought so many incredible people into our lives.

Things are moving quickly on our farm, and we recently received additional funding to continue developing our solar powered oyster raft! We’ll be focusing our energies on this portion of our business in 2024. We’re hoping to start shipping our own Halftide oysters nationwide by fall!

We will also continue to offer catering/private events services in and around New York City. If you’re ever looking for some shuckers let us know.

Thank you for all of your support these last three years. We couldn’t have accomplished any of this without our CSA hosts, members, and friends. We’re excited to see what 2024 holds for us- Happy New Year! 🥂

Sometimes we get so caught up in farming oysters that we forget about the pleasure of eating them! What are your condiments of choice?

Giving Kitchen provides assistance to service industry workers in times of need. Whether it’s due to injury, layoffs, or personal financial trouble, Giving Kitchen offers financial aid and other resources to get people through tough times.

As someone who started washing dishes at 16 (and, on a certain level, hasn’t really stopped) this one hits close to home. Amazing work everyone 👏

Shipping 1,000 oysters from the farm down to NYC this week for the CSA!

Their refrigerated journey from Wiscasset to NYC and the Hudson Valley will start with a short drive to Portland, where they’ll be briefly stored at the Portland Fish Exchange. They’ll be picked up and transported across New England and down to the Brooklyn Fish Transfer in the Navy Yard- which happens to be where is hosting their annual party next Friday- and We’ll pick them up in the early morning and deliver them to restaurants and CSA members around the city and the Hudson Valley!
