The cranberry marsh system, which consists of cranberry beds, supporting reservoirs, and uplands, is a diverse wildlife habit that compliments a commercial sustainable cranberry operation. The last part of September and through at lea

st the third week of October is harvest time and the most popular time to tour a cranberry marsh. As of 2017, Glacial Lake Cranberries does not offer public tours.

Wisconsin is seeing a string of very cold days. As a perennial plant, growers need to care for their crop year round. In the winter they freeze a layer of ice over the plants to protect next year’s fruit that’s already on the vines!

It may be cold, but it’s still a beautiful view!
