We've been quiet, but we've been busy.

Coming very soon...

No filters. No hair dye. The silver is settling in. And even if this is the only silver we ever have, I'm the richest man in town with you beside me.

We're in every season of family at once right now: launching some, still raising others, holding all of them. There's no such thing as a mundane day, and I'm grateful we can navigate it all together.

When you're young and newlywed, there's no way to understand what it takes to still be in love 27 years later, to love someone more than you did on that magical wedding day. The miles, the aches, the joys, the memories that make up the path to "Death do us part." But I do, Holly.

"Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be." We're doing it. We're growing old together, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Happy 27th Anniversary, Holly Putnam. My heart is forever yours.

It may be 94 degrees in October, but that doesn’t mean we’re not in the mood for homemade apple pie. Miriam put this together so we decided to have it for breakfast while it was still somewhat cool on the porch. Best idea we had all week.
