As stewards of the land, we specialize in two things that make our

hearts buzz with joy - raw honey and Highland cattle. Our bees work diligently to produce the sweetest, purest honey straight from the hives, while our Highland cattle roam the fields, embodying the spirit of the farm.

🚜 A Year of Growth:
Today marks our first year of cultivating not just crops, but relationships with our community. It's been a year of hard work, laughter, and learning, and we're thrilled to share the fruits of our labor with you.

A big day for Coyote Run Farm! These Red Devon heifers from Lakota Ranch in Re*****on, VA are officially home and will become the foundation of our herd.

We chose Red Devons because they are a heritage breed perfectly suited for a 100% grass-fed, forage-finished program. They thrive on pasture, are known for their calm temperament, and produce exceptional beef without relying on grain.

We also wanted to start with the very best genetics we could find. Lakota Ranch has spent decades preserving and improving one of the oldest and most respected Red Devon herds in the country, making them an easy choice to begin our breeding program.

For now, these girls are settling in just as we’d hoped—enjoying fresh grass, the shade of the sycamore trees, and their new home.

Here’s to the beginning of something special at Coyote Run Farm.

As our nation celebrates 250 years of American independence — 1776–2026 — we are reminded of the generations before us who worked the land, built communities, and helped shape the country we call home.

Here in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, we’re thankful for the simple blessings of farm life — green pastures, hardworking hands, Red Devon cattle, Kiko goats, honey bees, and time spent with family.

Farms have always been part of America’s story. They represent independence, responsibility, and a connection to the land that has been passed down through generations.

From our family farm to yours, we hope everyone has a safe and blessed Fourth of July. 🇺🇸
