Hargot's Family Farm Grass-fed Beef, Pastured Pork, Pastured Chicken and Fresh Eggs. Grass-fed Lamb will be available fall of 2025 Large quantity or individual packages For Sale.

We are a multigenerational small family farm (200 acres with approximately 100 head), that has been operated since 1943. Alex and Francis Hargot operated the farm from 1943 to 1973. Roger and Patricia Hargot operated the farm from 1973-2016. Chris and Megan Hargot from 2016-present. Chris and Megan are veterans and active members within our community. Chris is a veteran of The Marine Corps and Megan is still currently serving in the Army National Guard. We are active with in the Lublin American Legion Post 547. We strive to sell quality meat that is raised using ecologically sound practices, such as management intensive rotational grazing, composting of manure, and protection of waterways. We create a low stress environment for our cattle using Silvo pasture (integrating trees into pasture), mobile windbreak/shade sheds, mobile watering, and under population. This means our cattle are always on fresh pasture with proper access to water and have protection from the elements when needed. We have minimized any medications and antibiotics given to the animals. Also, we do not use hormones. All of the meat we sell is 100% grass fed, and we eat what we sell.

One of our friends has offered to set up at the Marshfield Farmers Market by festival for us this Saturday, October 3rd. We will be send a few items but not all the options. Please let us know what you would like to ensure she has with her for purchasing.

Thursday, October 1st at 6pm at Marshfield festival foods parking lot we will be making deliveries. Please let us know if you need any grass-fed beef or lamb, pastured chicken or pork. Thank you for understanding and being flexible during Chris’s healing.

This last week on the farm has been crazy. Chris took a fall and he broke his ankle/leg. Yes, it is bad but we are blessed it is just a bone. It will be a long recovery for him. Please be patient with us.

We will still sell all the meats but I (Megan) may not be at Market much, if at all. If anyone needs anything you are all welcome to come to the farm to purchase OR a friend is willing to make deliveries for us.

Come see us tomorrow September 5th at Festival Foods in Marshfield for the Farmer Market 8-1pm. We have Grass-fed beef and Lamb, Pastured Pork and Chicken. Fresh unwashed eggs.
