Avondale pioneered Georgian Qvevri w**emaking in South Africa, using clay vessels buried underground to keep temperatures steady and allow gentle oxygen contact.

Their organic and biodynamic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre brings red fruit, violets and spice, with an earthy finish. Awarded 91 points by Tim Atkin.
