Koy means “village” in Turkish, and our mission is to share the gastronomic bounty, flavors, and stories from our homeland. For millennia, Anatolia, the land of present-day Turkey, has been the intersection of east meeting west–cultures coming together to enrich diversity. Koy Pantry is an immigrant-founded company. We support small producers and create a sustainable supply chain of imported goods

from Turkey. By working directly with producers, we are able to offer premium, high-quality, fresh products with an emphasis on seasonality and traditional production methods dating back to early Anatolian civilizations. In turn, we offer farmers greater financial security. We value high-quality ingredients, both for more delicious and flavorful dishes and for transparency as to what’s inside them. Our goal is to be your source for wholesome, high-quality pantry items sourced in an ethical, thoughtful way, all while introducing new flavors to your palette.

In this week’s retail partner highlight, we are featuring located in Brooklyn, NY! Edy’s was founded by in hopes of preserving his culture as Greenpoint’s first Lebanese Market and Deli opening its doors in 2020. They specialize in providing a wide variety of imported groceries from the Middle East, they also make delicious meze, sandwiches, baked goods and so much more! In Brooklyn and looking for pistachio butter? Look no further than Edy’s Grocer! Also, Edy’s book Keep It Zesty is out now!

Next up on our retail partner highlight is located in Newburyport, MA! Joppa Fine Foods opened in 2003 serving the North Shore community a selection of cheeses, cured meats, natural and organic wines, craft beers and hard-to-find pantry items. Joppa is ‘reminiscent of the days of the neighborhood corner store, owned and operated by a member of the community’ Abbie Batchelder who after working as GM for 4 years took over the business. If you’re in the North Shore and in need of our pistachio butter, check this shop out!

In this week’s partner highlight we are featuring with locations in East Hampton and Sag Harbor, NY! Carissa’s was founded by Carissa Waechter and Lori Chemla as a bakery and has since grown into a popular destination serving artisanal breads, pastries, sandwiches, coffee and more! In 2020, Carissa’s won a James Beard Award for outstanding restaurant design award and in 2025 was a semi finalist for outstanding bakery! They stock our pistachio butter which goes really well with their breads! If you’re in the Hamptons, be sure to check out one of their locations!

Next up on our retail partner highlight is located in Barrington, Rhode Island! Owners Ashley and Tim came together at Juniper Restaurant in Wellesley, MA. After decades in the food industry and a passion for good food, they joined forces to open their shop to serve their community. Rind offers cheese, of course, but they also offer house made foods, sandwiches and a selection of imported and domestic goods. Rind stocks our pistachio butter, if you ever find yourself in Barrington, Rhode Island, check this lovely shop out!

Next up on our retail feature highlight is located in Greenville, South Carolina! Mary and Jac saw a need in the community for local produce and food makers and opened Swamp Rabbit in 2011. Since then, Swamp Rabbit has grown to be a destination for their community as a cafe, bakery, grocery store, a food hub and gathering place. ‘The Swamp prioritizes good food from real people above all else, and is truly a community-driven business that puts people over profits’ and we couldn’t be more proud to have them stock our products. You’ll find both our pepper paste and tomato paste at Swamp Rabbit and we look forward to visiting when we have the opportunity to do so!

Next up on our retail partner highlight is located in Hudson, NY! Kate Arding and Mona Talbott combined their passions for thoughtful, sustainable foods by creating Talbott & Arding in 2014. They have since become a destination in the Hudson Valley for cheese, provisions, farm-to-table prepared foods, produce and so much more. With an attention to quality and their passion for good food, Talbott & Arding is a unique culinary destination. They stock a variety of Koy Pantry products, we are super grateful for their support! In this week’s retail partner highlight, we are featuring located in Belmont, MA! The Spirited Gourmet originally opened in 2004 in Wi******er as a liquor store by Chris and Elena Benoit. They then opened their Belmont location in 2007 being the first liquor store in what was previously a dry town. Since then, their Belmont location remains open serving the community wine, spirits, beer, imported and local foods and they also make some of the most delicious sandwiches in town. The Spirited Gourmet stocks Koy pistachio butter and figs in syrup and have been a supporter since day one. They host weekly free tastings of beer, wine and the products they stock. If you find yourself in the Belmont area, be sure to go say hi to these wonderful folks!
