Hey friends! Don’t forget, our Meet & Greet & Grill is happening this Saturday, October 10th, from 1–3 PM!

We’ll be hanging out at the church with FREE burgers, hot dogs, chips, and soda for anyone who wants to stop by!

Come learn a little more about the Woburn Community Fridge, meet some of our volunteers, sign up for volunteer opportunities, or just swing by to drop something off at the Fridge!

No need to bring anything or sign up. Just come say hi! We’d love to meet more of our neighbors and thank everyone who has helped make this little community project possible!

Community Fridges are a complementary model to other local food resources including food banks and hot meals programs.

The Fridge, ours included, are not meant to replace grocery stores. We see some visitors take armfuls and bag fulls of food thereby leaving little for the person who comes to the Fridge after them.

While we cannot presume to understand where that food is going or how many people it is feeding, we also need to sustain this model to ensure we are helping everyone who is on the brink of food insecurity.

How else can we do this? By talking to our visitors. If you are a visitor to the Fridge, drop us a message in our DMs. Who are you feeding? How is the Fridge helpful? Are you aware of other food programs that might be more sustainable and comprehensive than our Fridge?

This feedback is the only way we can make this resource as effective as possible.

Hi Weekend Warriors!
We have seen lots of new donators this week and we are so excited! The fridge was basically empty when we came by for cleaning today. Hoping many of you have time this weekend to stop by with your extra meals, some yogurt you have bought, or even some burgs and dogs you put on the grill and wrapped up.
