Loving the early greenhouse crops! Peas almost ready, just harvested these almost #3 Napa cabbages and zucchini from parthenocarpic seeds, beets and carrots coming right along, so many nutritious greens! Come visit the farm. Still plenty of seedlings and of course our maple syrup!

Home food production has always been important for community and household food security, but it’s been especially essential during times of widespread hardship. During World Wars I and II, the U.S. government encouraged families to plant Victory Gardens, preserve storage crops, raise chickens, and curb food waste to alleviate pressure on a strained food system. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, we witnessed ballooning interest in home gardening, backyard chickens, sprouting, bread making, and other home food adventures. 🌱🐝

We are excited to announce the opening of our Farm stand and Agritourism Greenhouse, which will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting May 8th! Stop by for a bountiful selection of healthy organic plants and fresh produce, and choose from a wide variety of cold-tolerant seedlings that are hardened off and ready to thrive in your garden!

We have large variety of veggie starts, vibrant flowers, culinary and medicinal herbs, perennials and more! Most plants are affordably priced at just $2 or $2.50 each.

These healthy seedlings are grown in the best organic compost-based potting soil which will give your garden the charge it needs for a great start!

We also have farm-made Deep Woods pottery and our artisan maple syrup available in person or with nationwide shipping.
