What an absolutely lovely summer. I haven’t really posted for awhile. I took a little break from social media and honestly, it’s been so nice.

I’ve been soaking up time with the littles, spending most days outside, and getting SO much food prepped, stored and, or ready to can. We’ve had an abundance of almost everything, from our beets, carrots, potato’s, peppers, tomatoes and more!

I’m trying my best to keep up and Just enjoy this season of life and all the little things that come with it. Fall is around the corner.. let the chaos begin! Blessed is an understatement.

We’re so excited to open the Farmstand tomorrow. We will be stocking it today with lots of goodies including a fresh selection of 🌿 herbs, 🥬 crisp lettuce, 🫜Swiss chard, 🌺beautiful dahlia flowers, 🥯homemade baked goods, and 🐇rabbit meat. Everything is raised or grown right here on our little homestead.

Stop by, stock up on some fresh local goodness, and thank you so much for supporting our little family farm. We can’t wait to see you!

In the process of setting up our new solar battery we realized that our solar issue was not the battery.. it was the solar charge controller. We ordered a new one asap and it should be here tomorrow. With that being said we will be opening Saturday NOT Friday. See you the then :))

Important update!
✨Since opening our farmstand in May we have had a few minor errors. With that being said we will be closed until Friday where we will have another little grand opening!
The farmstand is primarily run on solar power and we had previously used this setup when my husband and I lived in the farmstand. A couple weeks ago our battery unfortunately died and we had to get a new one.
🍓 If you have been in recently you probably could tell there has been nothing in our fridge or our freezer for the past two weeks.
🌾Another one of our problems has been lack of service/internet for anyone wanting to use Venmo.

Over the next few days we will be revamping the tinyhouse with internet and our new battery. I will trying to fully stock the fridge for Friday with lettuce, Swiss chard, greens 🥬 Sweet tea and Lemonade 🍋

🐇In our freezer we also will have RABBIT MEAT! So many requests and we are so excited!

Our little farm is getting busy! We’ve got close to 80 birds running around, including turkeys, laying hens, meat birds, guinea hens, and ducks. They’re loud, messy, and keep us on our toes, but what a fun time of year!
Depending on how our summer goes we are hoping to have chicken for sale this fall at the Farm stand, we have already been under attack by a few predators.. we are hoping the rest of our season goes smoothly and we will be able to have a great harvest for our family and enough to share with you. On the bright side rabbits will hopefully be in the Farmstand next week!!
