Some time last evening our kidding season ended when Cleo gave us triplet does! She had us concerned, but decided to give birth on her own schedule. Better pictures will have to come later. For now everyone seems to be doing fine.

Rhonda and Nellie are all settled in their kidding pens and the waiting game begins. Based on their body language they seem to be in early labor now. Thankful they avoided the super frigid temperatures so we could make sure they are warm and snug when the little ones arrive.

One last boy remaining. Dyad Acres Houdini, my personal favorite, is ready to go to work for your herd. We have considered retaining him but that will require us to increase our doe numbers which isn't in the plan just yet. So, he is available to move on to new Pastures. Available for a new home, 2yo Rhode Island Red hens and one light brahma. They are going through a late fall molt and not laying excessively right now. We are going to renew with chicks this spring and would like to rehome these hens before winter hits full swing. Located in LaGrange County. Message for details.
