š½ļø Eat Like A Farmer! š½ļø
I went grocery shopping in the farmstand (and at Dickersons) and hereās what I chose!
š A whole chicken. I spatchcocked it, seasoned with salt and pepper, and grilled it on the charcoal grill. It was easy and itās so juicy and delicious!
š
Tomato Salad, with onions, green pepper, and balsamic vinaigrette. Seasoned with salt and pepper. Simple, beautiful, and so satisfying!
š« Green beans. These could not be more easy. I sautĆ©ed them in butter and oil to get some color on them, then put a little water in the pan and put the lid on and let them steam until tender. I wish I had a little bacon for them but theyāre still delicious.
š½ Dickersonās Sweet Corn They have the best sweet corn!!!! Itās so fresh and it tastes great. They are on our road but on the other side of SR 3.
š
š„ Bruschetta with Second Breakfast Bakery sourdough bread. This is just chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Seasoned with salt and pepper. You could eat an entire loaf of bread with this, itās sooooo good! (swipe for picture!)
I wanted to make cole slaw too but I ran out of time. We do have lots of beautiful cabbage in the farmstand!
