Peikert Farms

Peikert Farms A West Texas Family Farm And in 2020 we had a new dream: to cultivate our land and turn our empty nest into a thriving family farm.

In 2006, we had a dream to leave the city and build a Victorian house on a piece of land in the country to raise our kids surrounded by all of the beautiful nature that West Texas has to offer. What started as a few raised beds has turned into a multi-acre farm full of fresh vegetables. With the help of our family (and our farm pug, Lucy), our vision is to provide fresh, home grown produce to West Texas.

This is the reason that we do what we do. If you've ever come to the stand, you've seen the sticky note wall. It's full of well wishes, drawings, notes of thanks, Bible verses, and notes of people just loving what we do.

Farming is hard work. We don't grow vegetables to get rich, we grow them to provide the people of Lubbock and surrounding areas with food that they can trust from a local, family-owned farm with a little red barn.

Reading these notes every day is such an encouragement to us. We love to see that we are positively impacting the community that we serve. We love to see your kid's drawings, your favorite verses, or notes from friends we don't get to see often.

If you come see us, please leave us a note, draw us a picture, or just say hi if you see us around.
Y'all are the reason that we do what we do. And we are thankful to each and every one of you that has supported us over the years❤️
