Born and raised in El Paso, TX and transplanted to Albuquerque, NM I have had the privilege to watch my parents build a catering and restaurant business from which I got my passion for food. My cheesecake story starts in 2013, when a good friend of mine asked if I could bake a cheesecake for his birthday. It was a hit and from there on I received more orders. After tinkering with recipes and many

different ingredients, I hit the perfect recipe that is unique to me. These cheesecakes have been sold in my parents restaurant and I am proud to say that they have been TripAdvisor rated #1 in the city of Albuquerque for 3 years now. Fast forward to the present, I have made Lubbock, Texas my new home and look forward to bringing Lubbockites my cheesecakes to enjoy as well as a taste of New Mexican food. I promised I’d make tacos again if they were well received. Well… they were! I’ll do Taco Tuesday instead of my normal Tuesday menu, then enchiladas on Thursday.

With my imminent departure from Lubbock out in the open now, I have a whole lot of people begging for recipes. I’m not quite sure what to do about this! I was not taught how to cook anything by anybody. No recipes were ever passed down to me, except a couple from my grandma. I have literally just winged it every time I make something, from my Red Chile sauce to how I make my beans. Thoughts?! 🤔
