Thank you to everyone who came and supported the Wolverine Farmers and Makers Market today. It was great chatting with so many gardeners and tulip lovers! My table set up wasn’t anything spectacular but it was practical. 😁 I still have tulip bulbs left. DM me if you would like some. Thank you to Connect Wolverine for coordinating this event and the Blue Ribbon Barn for allowing us to use their amazing space.e o

This time of year the flower lovers are going crazy for dahlias and sunflowers. For me, it’s these - lisianthus! 😍 I fell in love with this flower when a florist put them in my bridal bouquet 25 years ago. It’s been a journey to learn how to grow these…and I still need to learn more. Best grown in a hoop house, which I don’t have….yet. This flower takes patience. I started the seeds in January, planted outside in early May and they are just now blooming. That’s 9 months! This is why a stem of them is expensive. My armload is about $500 retail.
