Sweet potato harvest, gorgeous cauliflower, and the last hot pepper harvest. Craig is turning over the last few beds in the hoophouse, and we’ve decided that tomato harvest is done for 2020. The season marches on!

Signs of the changing seasons. I do love the changing leaves and the autumn produce, but witnessing migration has to be my favorite thing about fall. Last night, we enjoyed the magic of these monarchs. Good luck on your journey south!

Hold tight, alliums. 🧄🧅 We’ll get to cleaning you eventually!
Harvesting continues to take up most of our time. We brought in the spaghetti squash today, and it looks like delicata and acorn squash are ready, too. 3x per week we’re harvesting bounteous tomatoes, and green beans have joined the harvest list for this week and next. What a growing season it’s been!
We’re thankful to finally be getting some rain - maybe we’ll be able to take break from irrigating. ..💦

Tuesday morning, we pack our CSA shares. Each share is personalized, and this can make packing complicated. We’ve settled on our system - including really good signage (thank you, laminator!) and homemade shopping carts. It’s so fun to see how different the shares can be!
