Day 3 was another super fast day! 🐴 Time sure does fly when you’re having fun! 💕

We started the day learning all about the dos and don’ts of leading a horse. Each camper got a turn practicing their leading skills with the help of Miss Ana. 🐴

We played LOTS of games today, including a caterpillar relay, barn chore relay, and even built our own tower!

We also made some adorable earrings, played What’s in the Box? and got our pictures taken! 📸✨

Another fun-filled day at camp, and we can’t believe how quickly the week is flying by! 💚

🐴 Day Two of Week Two! 🐴

Today was another eventful day, and somehow the time just flew by! ⏰

We started the morning by grooming our horses and then headed into our riding lessons. After riding, we made our very own play dough before getting creative and painting our picture frames! 🎨

We also played Horse vs. Horse Flies 🪰🐴! The campers had to try to pick up as many cups as they could before getting tagged by the noodle (aka the horse’s tail)! There was lots of running, laughing, and some serious competition! 😂

Unfortunately, we ran out of time for our What’s in the Boxes? activity today—but don’t worry! 👀 The boxes are all ready to go for tomorrow morning, and our campers will finally get to see what’s inside!

We can’t wait for another fun-filled day tomorrow! 💚🐴

🐴 Happy Week 2! 🐴

We had an AWESOME first day of Week 2! 🤍

Today, our campers learned all about tack! We learned what everything is called, including the different parts of the bridle and saddle, why we use half pads and saddle pads, and what each brush is called and what we use it for. We also learned how to properly pick our horses’ feet! 🐎

Our campers then got to put their knowledge to work by using each brush to get their horses all clean and ready before heading out to ride! After riding, we decorated our “What’s in the Box?” activity for tomorrow! 👀📦 We wonder what will be inside for our campers to guess! 🤔

We then tested our knowledge with an ABC game before splitting into two teams for a fun race! Each team had to match barn items with their corresponding letter as they raced to add their Connect Four dots. 🔵🟡

We finished our day with Riding Ring Simon Says and some quiet time writing in our journals. 💕📖

What a fun and busy first day of Week 2! We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 🐴✨

Hello, July campers!

We can’t believe camp is already over! This week absolutely flew by, and we are so thankful that each of you chose to spend your week with us at Lennox Acres.

We loved watching your kids learn, grow, make new friends, and build confidence with the horses. From riding and horse care to crafts, games, and lots of laughs, we hope they had as much fun as we did!

We’re sure they’re excited to show you everything they made this week. We also sent home a picture of each camper with their horse today, so be sure to check their bags!

Each camper also wrote in their journal every day, so you’ll get a little glimpse into everything they learned and did throughout the week.

Thank you for trusting us with your kids. We loved having every one of them at camp, and we hope to see lots of familiar faces back in August for even more riding, new crafts, and another fun-filled week at the barn! 🐴☀️

Day 3 was a whole lot of fun! ☀️🐴

After grooming, tacking up, and riding, our campers got creative making special picture frames for their parents. After lunch, we cooled off with lots of water games, which were definitely needed on such a hot day! 💦

We can’t believe tomorrow is already the last day of our July camp! We’ve had so much fun with this amazing group, and we’re so excited that some of our campers will be joining us again for Week 2 in August! ❤️

Welcome to Day 2! 🐴☀️

We are so proud of all of our campers today! We packed a lot of learning into the day, starting with a horse anatomy lesson to better understand our equine friends.

We also had a special guest, Mr. Carlos, who showed us how to properly stretch our horses. He even gave Charming a well-deserved massage before our riding lessons!

After that, our campers split into groups. While one group headed out for riding lessons, the other learned about what horses can and cannot eat. We also planted carrots 🥕, colored horse anatomy sheets, and labeled our Breyer horses.
