Our patience has been rewarded. We were able to harvest enough leaves to process into our Black Raven. The tea has been rolled and now we need to let it oxidize and turn a nice dark brown color. Black Raven will be available in the Farm Store this weekend (14 Aug).

Week 3 of our iced tea extravaganza features our Berry Chai tea. It's a nice combination of fruity and warm spice flavors on a green tea base. Many of us don't think of icing green teas, but I'm a huge fan! We have some in the Farm Store this weekend to sample.

TEA CROP UPDATE: We have good news. We were able to harvest a small amount of tea and have processed it into our green tea - Terrapin Green. It is available in the Farm Store starting this weekend. Next up - Black Raven. We should be able to roll that out in another two to three weeks.

It's week 2 of "which teas make the best iced tea". The winner this week is our rooibos based (no caffeine) Summer Breeze. This tea blends the crisp flavors of grapefruit with refreshing mint. I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of mint in my tea. But, this is one of my go-to blends after a day in the tea fields. Add a sprig of mint and a dash of seltzer water and you've got a great mojito-stype mocktail. Stop by the Farm Store this weekend to sample and see what you think.

Do you know that some of our tea flavors make the best iced tea? And this is the perfect time of year to try a new flavor iced. Throughout the month of July, we'll be highlighting some of our favorite iced teas and will have some available to try. First up, our Ginger Peach black tea....simply yummy.
