When you want parsley but can’t find any you sub with carrot tops.

Fettuccine Alfredo:
Sauté 1 whole bulb minced garlic in 1/4 lb butter. When this starts to smell super good whisk in 2 tbsp flour until smooth, then stir in 3 cups of half and half. Stir nonstop until sauce thickens. Salt and pepper to taste. Toss boiled pasta in the sauce to coat. Serve immediately with fresh lemon and cracked red pepper. Garnish with a lot of parsley (or carrot tops!).
