And in exactly two weeks, our annual Take a Sip of History series returns to Lake Ridge with a perfectly timed October edition:

GHOST STORIES OF PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY 👻

Join us Thursday, Oct 15 from 6:30–8 PM as Water’s End and Prince William Historic Preservation dig into the history behind some of our area's ghost stories, hauntings, enduring myths and local lore. Hear the tales... then decide for yourself what might actually be real 🍺 FREE admission — no pre-registration required.

And don't put those Oktoberfest glasses away just yet! Bring your Water’s End 1-liter tankard or half-liter stein and enjoy fills in them throughout October. We'll also have the Sip of History mugs for sale as well.

Ghost stories + local history + a Water’s End b**r in your stein. Sounds like October to us. 👻🍻

🍺💪 ONE MORE DAY. START WORKING ON THAT FOREARM STRENGTH.

Our 6th Annual Oktoberfest is TOMORROW, and at 2 PM we'll find out who has what it takes to survive our Masskrugstemmen — traditional German stein-holding contest!

The rules are simple: arm straight, 1-liter tankard held out in front of you, and last one holding wins. 🍺💪

Speaking of tankards…

🍺 Our classic 1-liter Water's End tankards are in limited quantities for sale. Already have one from years past? BRING IT! You'll be able to use it for tankard fills tomorrow and throughout October — and this is the tankard you'll need to compete at 2 PM.

🍺 Our NEW half-liter steins are also available in very limited quantities and can be used for stein fills throughout October.

Then, of course, there's the reason to fill them: Oktoberfest 2026 releases TOMORROW! 🍻BC Members - don't forget your FREE half pour.

🍺 OKTOBERFEST RETURNS THIS SATURDAY! O' Zapft Is! (It is TAPPED!!!)

Welcome the autumn season with a deep amber-colored, rich and welcoming traditional Oktoberfest l***r.

It starts with a beautiful, lightly toasted German malt aroma, followed by notes of fresh-baked bread and peanut brittle that invite that first sip. A warm, sweet malt presence leads the way before a subtle, spicy hop bitterness follows to keep everything perfectly in check.

🍂 Oktoberfest 2026 releases this Saturday, September 26.

A few extras for release day: B**r Club members get a FREE half pour, and we'll have limited quantities of our 1-liter Water's End tankards along with our brand-new half-liter steins available for purchase and filling.

Calling all local craft vendors. We’re putting the finishing touches on our W.E. Fall Fest / Music & Craft Festival happening Saturday, October 17 at the Lake Ridge taproom, and we still have a few spots available for local craft vendors!

If you’re a local maker, artist, crafter or small business interested in joining us for a full day of live music, local b**r, food, craft vendors and more, we’d love to hear from you.

What. A. Day.

Ten years of Water’s End — and last Saturday was a blast.

To everyone who came out, raised a glass, brought the family, reunited with old friends, supported our staff, and helped us celebrate this milestone: THANK YOU!

Seeing so many familiar faces — some who have been with us since the beginning and plenty we’ve met along the way — was a pretty incredible reminder of what the last 10 years have really been about.

Then at 6 PM, Virginia Man takes over!

Coming off of the release of his sophomore LP—MURDER FOLK—the Man is working on new music for 2026. Where intentional song writing meets power and pocket, this project is an experience of both nostalgia and creation that will never leave you. Founder, singer, and songwriter, Kristian Lietzan has lived through many faces of Virginia Man, currently embarking on a new journey. Raised in the counties between the big cities in the great state of Virginia, he champions the sound of his homeland: a strange suspension between the cardinal directions, generational culture, and the changing of seasons.
