Danielle was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer when her third child was only 4 months old. She did 5 months of weekly chemotherapy and then had a double mastectomy and 25 rounds of radiation. After surgery, she was told that she had little to no response on chemo. They told her that her best shot was a clinical trial for the next six months. She ended this trial in March 2024 and celebrated her remission with a family trip. She was officially in remission for two months. She started to get back to the gym and after three days, she could barely move her bad arm; the pain got worse and worse. She tried PT and therapeutic massage and when nothing helped on May 17th, she went to the ER for debilitating back pain. The pain was so horrible, she could barely walk at the ER. She got a CT scan and they told her that her cancer had spread. It was now deemed a stage four with no cure. She was flown to Texas to get a second opinion and both of the top hospitals had agreed with chemo for life and no cure. She prayed and prayed for guidance, and God had brought her the opportunity for non-conventional therapies in Antigua.
On July 2, she stated that they arrived in Antigua and she completed her first treatment on July 1 and it continued until July 4 when she completed her third and final treatment at the completion of that treatment they had told her that her blood was clear of all circulating tumor cells, and the immune system should kick into gear.
On September 4th, she had her first PET scan since her treatment in Antigua. On September 11, she gave an update that the latest scan was kind of all over the place some bigger legions completely resolved while other ones smaller had appeared. It seemed like such a hard code to crack because there was such mixed information at that point. No new organs were involved in her brain was clear. She had been having migraines lately and was a bit concerned.
After that, there really wasn’t much information publicized because things weren’t going the way that they were expected to go.
On November 21, 2024, Danielle went Home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Danielle leaves behind three incredible children, a loving husband and a wonderful extended family. If you have the ability this holiday season to donate gifts to her children, please follow the link below and they will be sent directly to their home.
