Who am I?

I was born to a Cuban father and Puerto Rican mother in Miami, Florida. Raised mostly between Miami and Tampa, Florida, I was also able to experience life on the island. Between the ages of 6-10, I lived in Salinas Puerto Rico with amazing & humbling memories of the magic the island life provides.

Immersed in the culture of the island and South Florida, my fondest memories were of the love, music and food of these two islands rooted deep in my soul!

The hot dog stands in Salinas when Mami took me to la ciudad, croquetas with rice and beans at Abuela's house when I visited, alcapurias and empanadas de cangrejo at my Titi's negocio, my Tia and Abuelo taking me to Vicky's Bakery, the list goes on and on.

Now it is my turn to get in touch with those roots and share with the Northern Virginia area the foods and happiness that brought comfort and joy to me throughout my life.

Starting off slow but looking forward to being able to provide some of those gems that live engrained in my heart!
