Take a peak at how we plant millions of tulips in our fields!🌷🌷

We plant our bulbs in late September/early October once the soil temperature has cooled to limit disease pressure, as certain diseases are more active during warmer temperatures.

Once the bulbs are in the ground, they begin spreading their roots during cooler weather until they are ready to sprout in early spring.

We cannot wait to see the beauty of next year’s tulip fields come March!

No garden? No problem! 🌷 Planting tulip bulbs in a pot is an easy way to enjoy a pop of spring color, even if you’re short on space.

All you need is a pot, some moist soil, fertilizer, and your favorite tulip bulbs. Plant your bulbs now and look forward to a beautiful display in the spring!

As we wrap up our final day of Summer Flowers, we want to thank you for an incredible summer full of annual blooms, fun events and different experiences from tulip festival, in it's own unique way.

We hosted new creative workshops, introduced special ticket bundles for sunset experiences, offered new flower varieties in our u-pick field and so much more!

We are truly grateful to everyone who visits Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm and supports our family farm. We appreciate your valuable feedback as we continue to learn and grow to make this summer event better and more special each year.

We hope to see you in the springtime when tulips are back! 🌷
