Planning for the Gilmanor Fall trade day in Sept.

The Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair 2026, ODPA poultry show, is always a family affair since it's so close to home.
My husband brought our Dewlap Toulouse Gander, Big Daddy, to the show, and won Reserve Champion Heavy Goose.
I took my old Phoenix boy, but the girls beat him. I still think he was the prettiest bird there.
I also took one of my little male Calls, he's never been to a show before. But he made me proud and won Reserve Champion Bantam Duck & Reserve Champion Open Waterfowl.

Emilyn also attended the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair 2026, ODPA poultry show. She placed 2nd in Senior showmanship....

Emilyn also attended the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair 2026, ODPA poultry show. She placed 2nd in Senior showmanship. She took only 2 birds this year.

Nibbles, her white call hen, took Reserve Champion, Jr Bantam Duck.
And of course, a Hamburg Hen, winning Champion Continental in Youth and Reserve Champion Continental in Open.

Caleb took 2 of his feather legs to the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair 2026, ODPA poultry show. He earned 2nd place in Junior Showmanship.
Taki, his Belgian D'uccle, had molted and lost most of his tail.
But his Bantam Buff Brahma, stole the show.

Update: Currently spoken for. If it falls through, I will move down the list.

I have 2 call ducklings that will be available at the end of this week. Must take both! Unsexed, will be 7-10 days old.
This is a rare occasion this year, as I plan to grow everyone out until the fall. But since only 2 hatched from this small batch, it's not worth me keeping the brooder inside going with our busy schedule.

We have a Dewlap Toulouse Gosling, Gray, that will be available this week only. He was injured Sat evening, after getting stuck in the fence, and has been kept inside since. He's doing well... eating and drinking fine. But we're not around enough to give him the one on one he needs so he doesn't get lonely.
